Safari a las Nubes /
to the clouds (nubes), 1 day

Thanks to the technical conditions of our vehicles, the "Safari to the Clouds" gives us the possibility to combine three different circuits in the Northwest of Argentina in one day. The first one, the "Way to the Clouds" follows the famous railway track of the "Train to the Cluds" through the Quebrada del Toro ( Bull´s Ravine ) up to San Antonio de los Cobres. The second one, goes through the Puna, along route 40, up to Salinas Grandes of Jujuy. And the third one, the downhill trip of Lipan to the picturesque village of Purmamarca at the base of the well known "Seven Colours Hill". The circuit ends in Salta.

Safari a las Nubes con Humahuaca /
to the clouds whit Humahuaca (NUHUM), 2 days

This 2-day trip combines the circuit "Safari to the Clouds" with the classic trip of the "Quebrada de Humahuaca". To avoid travelling the same way twice ( Salta-Purmamarca ) we stay the night in Maimara, Purmamarca or Tilcara, depending on your choice. The attractions of the "Safari to the Clouds" on the first day are coupled with three other spectacular points of interest on the second day: The Tilcara's amazing indigenous ruins, the Quebrada de Humahuaca and the picturesque village with the same name. We return by a sinuous road through a jungle area called "Las Yungas".

Safari Calchaquíes (CACAF), 2 days

This is the classic "Tour to the Calchaqui Valleys" with the special touch of our vehicles, including the Ruins of Quilmes in the Province of Tucumán. We go up the "Cuesta del Obispo" and across the "Los Cardones National Park" to the ancient town of Cachi. A very samll and picturesque path takes us along the fertile valleys of the Calchaqui River and across the extraordinary Quebrada de Las Flechas, passing through the little towns of Molinos and San Carlos. We stay the night at the fascinating hotel near the Quilmes Ruins. The following day we walk through the ruins of the ancient settlement of the Quilmes and then we continue our trip towards Cafayate to learn about and to taste ...the main agricultural activity of the Calchaqui Valleys, the vineyards and the winerys. The way back to Salta takes us through the marvellous scenery of the Conchas River with its fascinating rock formations.

Safari Cachi Colorados (CACOL), 1 day

This circuit takes you through the Lerma Valley up to "El Carril", where we then start going west. After Chicoana the trip continues along the Quebrada de Escoipe ( Escoipe Ravine). You will be delighted with the panoramic views as the truck climbs the Cuesta del Obispo. Following the beautifull Colorado road we reach a small ancient town called Cachi. It is a very picturesque village in the Calchaqui Valleys., where the traditions and myths abound. A visit to one of the most famous Archeological Musseums and free time to walk around the village meeting the people who are a living legend. After lunch we go through "Los Cardones National Park" and back to Salta.

Salta (SLA) 1 day

Departure in the afternoon from Movitrack's Office. We tour around different historical places and continue to visit some villages about 30 km from the city centre. One of the villages, Vaqueros, is famous for the handcraft markets. The summer holiday village of San Lorenzo and its well known Ravine will surprise you with its singular beauty.We continue then to Salta and visit the handcraft market. In the evening we go up the San Bernardo Hill where you can admire the lights of the entire city. The tour finishes in a typical folcloric restaurant.

Cafayate con Quilmes (CAQUI) 1 day

Departure from Movitrack's Office which is right in town. Driving along the fertile Lerma Valley you will pass different towns like Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril and Coronel Moldes. All these places are dedicated to the cultivation of the land. This is an important area for the tobacco plantations as you will see along the road. Traveling along the Quebrada de Las Conchas and due to wind and water erosion you will be able to discover the different shapes of the rock formations such as "The Monk", "The Fungi", " The Natural Theatre", "The Devil's Throat", and "The Castle". Time for lunch and then a very interesting visit to the Quilmes Ruins (pre- inca). The trip returns to Cafayate, a picturesque village, famous for its vineyards. A visit to a winery is always welcome by the tourists. Tour around the city and then we spend some time in a handcraft market. In the afternoon we return to Salta through the Conchas Gorge, stopping first in an inn well known for its goat cheese

Humahuaca 1 day

Leaving from Movitrack's Office, which is right in town, we go to Güemes, and then continue to the picturesque Quebrada de Humahuaca. On the way we pass different villages like Volcán, Tumbaya and Maimara with its "Paintor's pallette ". In Purmamarca, a famous village for its well known "Seven Colours Hill ", you will have time to visit the handcraft market and to walk around the village. In Tilcara we visit an archeological Museum and the "Pukara" (amazing indigenous ruins ) . We then continue the trip, pass Huacalera and Uquía, and finally arrive to Humahuaca and ancient pictureque village. Walk around the place and free time for lunch. In the afternoon we return to Salta by a sinuous jungle area called "Las Yungas"
